I have ever seen of the American political scene is The top US conservatives and liberals from the British newspaper Telegraph. I applaud the author, Toby Harnden, for a fair and very well presented piece.

P.S. This does not violate my moritorium as I am not expressing a political view, but drawing attention to an independent treatment of both sides. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
