Hmm… I wonder what portion of the brain is next to our ears?
I'm skeptical about this too, especially since it usually takes two or three minutes for popcorn to pop in a full blown microwave oven. . . Of course usually that is a case of heating up a whole bag of popcorn whereas a few individual kernels of popcorn may pop quite a bit quicker. Either way, the suggestion that cell phones emit powerful microwaves that can cause popcorn to pop is hardly what I would call "cute".
Robin- "cute" because they are well done special effects vids. I thought the betting going on in the second vid was particularyly well done. The batteries don't hold enough electricity to pop the corn even if they were wired directly into a heating element.
