A Time of Transition

The last few weeks have definitely been a time of transition for me and mine. First, my father in law, and then my employer of the last seven years going out of business. Less important than a human life, but I have fewer reserves. I'll be just fine, and I'll post more regularly in the future, but I just haven't been up to it recently.

Bush, America screwing up the Solar System

First there was last September's news from NASA that Mars was undergoing climate change- weather becoming more erratic and more violent, polar ice caps melting. Now there's this story about Jupiter undergoing climate change- after centuries of stability, it's suddenly grown a second "Great Red Spot" super-hurricane. (http://www.space.com/scienceastronomy/060504_red_jr.html)

This makes three planets showing the same phenomenon; surely they must have the same cause. Now, we know that increased Solar activity has nothing to do with it- how we know this, I don't know, but the very idea is laughed off by Global Warming experts as Republican propaganda; Global Warming is caused only by America's love of SUVs and Bush's failure to sign the Kyoto Accords. Therefore, I can conclude that the Mars and Jupiter probes were based on Ford Excursion and Chevy Suburban designs, and are screwing up the Solar System! Erase the Red Spot- sign Kyoto!
