Woe is me

I'm up in my hotel room, sick as a cliche, missing GA. Well, I suppose if I had to miss a day this is the one to miss, and the plenary will be streamed tonight. I'll be at tomorrow's plenary if I have to rent a wheel chair.

Get rest, and room-service fluids might be worth the expense.

I'm thinking about you. And a million other things. But also you.

Yikes! I've only been to one GA and missing any of it due to illness would make want to holler. Hope you feel better VERY soon!

What did Woody Allen say? Something about how X% of life is just showing up. I'm sure you'll be better tomorrow. Take care.

...I just realized you said "a wheelchair." What on earth is wrong with you? I was going to suggest Immodium, which is no doubt in the hotel shop!

Get well soon -- and I hope that the altitude sickness you mentioned in an earlier post is just jet lag, dehydration, and maybe being slightly winded from the 4200 elevation in Salt Lake City.

Drinking plenty of water is supposed to help acclimation to altitude.

Thanks, Steve. I first got sick at 10,000 feet- the family visited Yellowstone and Grand Tetons before GA. I had thought that going down to Salt Lake would be low enough for it to stop, but I guess not, or once it starts it just needs time.
